Rubbish chute risers

The construction of rubbish chute risers
is based on the same concept and principle as those of the linen and waste chutes. The shaft section is 500 mm.
These risers are made of galvanized steel, treated internally with epoxy tar, with a thickness of 15 to 20/10th. The rubbish receptacles are made of cast aluminum and have a capacity of 15 liters.
A soundproof insulation of the shaft is necessary to eliminate the noises produced by the impact linked to its use.

For over 20 years, the SMC has acquired a well-established reputation, thanks to its reliable and suitable technical solutions.

Partial replacement of risers
(Irreversible damages)
There are different ways to handle local repairs, with or without demolishing the partitions.

The repair components (Kit) are made of galvanized steel treated internally with epoxy (option).

The soundproofing is ensured by the application of an external covering. The rubbish receptacles used are of the standard type in cast aluminum of 7 to 15 liters.

Casing of old risers

When the installations are still sound, despite a relatively significant state of disrepair, casing by incorporated sheathing may be envisaged. It consists of introducing a rustproof steel sheath into the existing sheath, and the process is carried out by means of an equipment specially conceived for this purpose. A treatment using epoxy resins reinforces the connection with the rustproof steel sheath. This procedure may be used for the entire riser or in ad hoc repairs, without need for demolition.

Other activities

Replacement of rubbish receptacles
Furnishing of reception sites with containers, bends, silos, etc...

The rubbish slides down into containers,
directly leaving the bend
and a small metal storage silo
(option).

The rubbish chutes

The concept of rubbish chutes is identical to that of linen chutes. These installations found in canteens and restaurants are conceived to contain discharged rubbish of 30 to 50 liters, per bag.

This procedure is not possible with traditional rubbish chutes.
