The linen chute risers so are made of rustproof steel AISI 304 of 500 to 600 mm in diameter.

The PF 1/2 or CF 2 doors are equipped with an electromagnetic security system, the access to which is controlled by a push button. Two doors cannot be opened simultaneously.

An electric box with signals to indicate the floor being used, controls the whole operation at the reception site. The SMC linen chute risers may be equipped with fire detection systems using ionic probe or linked directly to the central fire detection system of the building. In case of fire, the hatches, valves and doors are automatically locked.

Efficient and reliable, the SMC linen chute risers are safer.

The SMC also does simpler, but equally efficient, installations.

The doors (firebreak degree of 1H30) generally have an opening of 500 mm wide and 600 mm high, and made of stainless steel (frame + casing) or in electrozinc (paint finish).

Reception :

Direct Reception :
The riser goes down vertically and stops at about 1.20 m from the ground to allow for the passage of a container.

Retarder bend :
A bend slows down descent before falling onto the container.
This type of bend may be soundproof or silent-bloc .
