Metal Chimney

The SMC undertakes a study, based on conditions and specifications and the description of the gradients on site, to identify the best technical solution in terms of a given price (for flues, vertical sections, types of shafts according to the regulations). The SMC also does the installation for you.

Flexible Tubing

The SMC makes all types of tubing of flues, in single or double coil, depending on the nature of the fuel used.
Flexible tubing in :

Smooth lining, double coil, made of rustproof steel AISI 316, strong resistance to corrosion Single coil in rustproof steel AISI 316
Gas, low temperature fuel oil, wood, coal Gas, fuel oil
Any height Any height

Increasing the Height of Flues

Chimney Stack
The increase in the height of flues is compulsory when a new adjoining building is higher. It is therefore necessary for the former flues to be heightened by + 0,4 m from the new ridgepole.
This type of work consists of insulated double-sheathed stainless steel flue or stainless steel for the interior and painted zalulite for the exterior.
The SMC presents a wide range of models of chimney stacks with various finishing touches with adapters for different roof slopes and tile types, for you to choose from.

Linking Up the Flues

Casing

The link up of flues is done by using a simple stainless steel modular wall 316, of any diameter or made to measure with a thickness of 0.8 to 2 cm.

The SMC has been specializing for 30 years in the casing of chimney flues. This process entails the application of a coat of plaster with the use of a special mortar on the 4 sides of the chimney flue to make it watertight, increase its rigidity and make it more durable.

External shafts

Rigid Tubing

The installation of external shafts is mainly done by using modular rigid components, double-sheathed stainless steel for the exterior/stainless steel 304 or 316 for the interior, insulated by vermaculite or ceramic fiber.
They are polycombustible gas, fuel oil, wood, coal, of any diameter.
Other shafts: Integrated or autostable shafts .

In the implementation of the work requiring rigid tubing, the SMC uses :

Modular components, simple stainless steel walling 316 with a gasket and safety clamps of 0.6 to 1 mm in thickness, polycombustible , of any height and of any diameter.
Specially-made tubing for greater thickness.
